Maybe, this is the Escence of Christmas :">

Belated Merry Christmas everyone!:) Waaw. Time flies so fast! See, this week's gonna be the last week of 2008. Aww :( Its time for a new beginning!:) Say goodbye to 2008 and hello, 2009!\:D/ Hmm. This year's Christmas was great and surprising too. Who wouldn't be surprise to receive a gift from someone that is so dear to you?:)) Haha. This doesn't mean of lovelife :& :)) Haha. Its my Dad. See, our family had gone through many challenges and certain and complicated situations this year. My Dad kept his pride so high that sometimes he forgets about us. So, because of that, I hated him and I started to act like his age and say negative stuffs about him face-to-face.

By November, he went to our province at Batangas and stayed there for the whole month up to the first 2 weeks of December. He received no calls or text messages from us asking how he was. We acted like nothing's wrong. Since the time our business closed-up, Dad never did buy expensive stuffs and buy only things he really needed. Before, he could buy everything for us at anytime at any price. We could ask for large amount of money for nothing. We had drivers wherever we go. We ate at any restaurants and we all have branded and new clothes each time. Every year, we had new cellular phones and stuffs. Whatever we liked, we get them easily before. Its so much different now. See how time passes so fast? So, at Christmas' week, he came home. I was surprised at that day he got home. I don't know how to act. I was sleeping at their room at that time so he sat by my side. When I woke up, he smiled at me but the first thing I said to him was "Si Mommy? Ba't ka nandito?" Aww. Mean me :| Haha. Well, he didn't answer my second question. So I went out of the room and went to the kitchen for breakfast.

On Christmas Day, we had no Noche Buena because my Mom preferred to have Noche Buena on New Year. Haha. Weirdoo. So I waited for Christmas. When 12mid-night came, I shouted "Merry Christmas!" :)) Haha. Because of that, my Mom and Ate woke-up :)) Since my Dad slept on my brother's room and the 3 of us, on my parent's room, I greeted them first. We 3 got out of bed and checked if anyone was still awake. My Dad then came out of my brother's room. No one greeted him and we acted like we are the only ones there. Dad got his car keys and went out of the house. We all thought he would just go out to meet his High School classmates because he had he keys. But we were very wrong. We went to his car to get our gifts. This is the very first Christmas that he gave gifts to us :) Since he thought we were mad at him, he just placed our gifts on the sala's couch. No one noticed the gifts except for Ate. When Ate saw the gifts, she went to me crying and told me that. I was laughing at her because she's iyakin :)) Haha. But when I saw the gifts, I was surprised! I wanted to cry but I can't :)) By that time, I was still laughing at my Sister :)) Haha. But, of the 3 of us, I was the first one to approach my dad and greeted him a Merry Christmas. I hugged him and talked to him. Well, I cried too :)) I cried because its the first Christmas he gave gifts to us. That time, I experienced how my Dad is when he is selfless. Its feels so good!:) From that time on, my family never had frowns 'til today :)

There, I find this Christmas sweet because of that. I apologize if you think my reason's lame and boring :)) But see, try to put yourself on my situation. Then maybe, you would understand :) Merry Christmas again and have a blissful New Year!
